  • Kobold NML-308 Level Sensor

    Kobold® type NML-308 float level sensors are miniature synthetic transducers suitable for level measurement in vessels of up to 48 inches in height. Floats are made from PTFE. Tubes are 316 stainless steel clad with PFA. The use of 1¼” or 1½” NPT fitting accommodates the diameter of the float and allows the units to be installed from the top of the vessel, or mounting bracket, without removing the float. Each transducer comes standard with cable or 4-pin Micro-DC plug. The transmitted level signal is generated via a DIN rail transmitter mounted remotely.

    Kobold® type NML-310 float level sensors are synthetic transducers suitable for level measurement in vessels of up to 108 inches in height. Floats are made from PTFE. Tubes are 316 stainless steel clad with PFA or PTFE. Flanges and fittings are available in Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), PVC, and PTFE. The use of 2″ NPT fitting or flange accommodates the diameter of the float and allows the units to be installed from the top of the vessel or mounting bracket, without removing the float. Each transducer comes with NEMA 4X housing. Variable resistance or analog level signals are available as outputs.

    Kobold® type NUS-4 ultrasonic level sensors are used for non-contact, continuous level and volume measurement in tanks or for flow measurement in open channels. Ultrasonic level measurement is especially suited for applications where no physical contact can be established with the media’s surface, such as with corrosive, contaminating, or adhesive media. The sensors have a total beam angle of 5°-7° at -3 dB. This ensures a reliable measurement in narrow silos with uneven side walls as well as in process tanks with various protruding objects. As a result of the narrow beam angle, the emitted ultrasonic signals have outstanding focus to penetrate through gases, vapor, and foam.
