    Kobold® type NCS & NCP float level switches are designed to meet a wide range of applications. They use a hermetically sealed reed contact actuated by a magnet in the float. They can be mounted in the tank top or bottom and will operate with up to a 30° tilt from vertical. They are field selectable for normally open or normally closed. They can also be made intrinsically safe for hazardous application by the use of I.S. barriers.

    Kobold® type NCW capacitive level indicators serve to monitor liquid levels in tanks. They consist of a measuring probe and a connecting head with a plug-in evaluation module. Depending on the operating conditions, different probes are available: single probe for standard applications, double probe with PVDF connection for non metallic tanks and aggressive media, single probe with external reference tube for non metallic tanks or media with very low dielectric constant, and single probe with split connecting head for liquid temperatures of up to 125°C.

    Kobold® type NGS industrial level switches are rugged switches built for the harshest of environments. All wetted parts are constructed of 316 stainless steel. The SPDT switch is activated by a permanent magnet external to the switch housing so that no penetration exists between the process medium and the switch internals. This mode of operation results in a very reliable switch which requires no external power to operate. The high-capacity, 10 Amp mechanical switch will directly operate most electrical loads such as relays, solenoid valves, and motor starters.

    Kobold® type NMF membrane level switches allow economic level monitoring of bulk media in storage tanks. They may be used to indicate full and empty states and load demand for dusty, powdery, granulated, and grainy bulk solids. They are suitable for use with bulk materials (19 to 144 lb/ft³) and particle sizes up to 30mm. They will operate properly provided the bulk media flows easily and does not pile up at a sharp angle.

    Kobold® type NSC level monitor devices are used for the monitoring of minimum and maximum levels in silos and depots. They are working on the capacitive principle and can be supplied in two different designs. The NSC-R is supplied with a rigid stainless steel probe with PTFE coating and mostly used for monitoring the maximum level. The NSC-C consists of a stainless steel probe body which is connected to the connection box by means of a steel cable coated with polypropylene. This type is usually used to control the maximum level, but also works for the minimum in case of low bulk densities. Both types are suitable for various installation conditions.
